Looking ahead, flood and pull. will develop into an open-access screen print studio, giving artists, designers and the wider community access to professional facilities, technical support and the space to develop their own work independently.
Open access matters because professional printmaking facilities are expensive and difficult to build alone. A shared studio lowers that barrier, making it possible to produce ambitious work without investing in your own equipment, whether you are a practising artist, a designer working on a side project or simply someone who loves to print.
Members will have access to everything they need to work independently, including screens, professional printing equipment and acetates printed for you. A screen preparation service will also be available so your screens can be prepared, coated and exposed with your artwork ready for you to print. Members will also have access to plan chest storage for works in progress.

The studio will offer a screen preparation and hire service for anyone who needs an image ready to print. We'll prepare and coat the screen, print your acetate and expose your artwork onto the screen so it's ready for you to use.
The prepared screen is then yours to hire for an agreed period. Prices will vary depending on the size of the screen and acetate and the length of the hire period.
Studio day hire
The whole studio, for a day.
flood and pull. will be available to hire for a full day, giving individual artists, practitioners and small groups exclusive use of the studio and its facilities.
For the duration of your booking the studio is entirely yours, with access to all available equipment and workspace. And biscuits.
If you plan to use the screen printing facilities as part of your hire, a studio induction will be required beforehand to ensure you are confident using the equipment safely and independently.
Technician support and teaching can also be provided throughout your studio hire for an additional fee.

Consumables not included. Paper, ink, screens, acetate and emulsion are charged separately where appropriate.
